What’s going on here? How can I participate?
You can leave your thoughts or wishes for the future here on the wall by publishing a message (tweet) on twitter with the hashtag #fotw. Your message will appear on the wall shortly after. Afterwards you will receive an @reply with a link on your twitter-account that leads to your message on the wall and that you can send to friends.
How many messages can I leave on the wall?
You can leave 5 messages on berlintwitterwall.com
Why does my messages not appear?
The wall is being filled by an API by twitter. Sometimes it doesn’t capture all messages with the hashtag #fotw –unfortunately we have no influence on this. No Spam – No Ads – No Adlinks!
How will the messages be displayed?
On the front page you will always find the latest messages which will rotate in a slideshow as they appear. Older messages will be shown towards the end of the show. Additionally there will be tweets that provide historical background on the fall of the Berlin wall – you can also subscribe to them on twitter:
